- What is Kalika?
- Kalika is a Vedic astrology platform that reads your birth chart and answers your questions in plain English — and shows you the exact chart factors behind every answer. No jargon to decode, no vague daily horoscope, and no subscription.
- What can I do with it?
- Once you add your birth details you can ask any question and get a chart-grounded answer, then tap a follow-up to go deeper on the same thread. You can also get in-depth life-area readings, check compatibility between two people, find favourable timing (muhurtha) for something important, and see your daily cosmic weather. Your full birth chart is always free to view.
- What are credits, and what do they cost?
- Credits are how you pay — per question, not per month. Your first 5 are free when you create an account. Asking a question costs 1 credit and a follow-up costs 3; viewing your birth chart is always free. You can buy more in simple packs (10, 30, or 100) on the pricing page whenever you want.
- Do I need to know my exact birth time?
- No. An exact birth time gives the most precise reading, because it fixes your ascendant and houses. If you only know your birth date, Kalika still reads your chart from your Moon and the slower-moving placements — and it will tell you when a question really needs a more exact time to answer well.
- Do credits expire?
- No. Credit packs never expire — buy 100 today and use the last one years from now. There's no monthly reset, no auto-renewal, and no deadline.
- What do you do with my data?
- We store the birth details, questions, and readings tied to your account so you can revisit them without paying again. We don't sell or share your data, and you can delete saved people and readings from your account.
- Can I get a refund?
- Unused credits can be refunded on request within 14 days of purchase. Credits you've already spent on a delivered reading aren't refundable. Email us and we'll sort it out.
- How do I sign in?
- Sign in with your Google account — it takes a few seconds, creates your account, and starts you with 5 free credits. No password to remember.
- How accurate are the readings?
- Readings are built on the classical Vedic canon — Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Phaladeepika, Saravali, and the Jaimini Sutras — and validated against large datasets of real charts and life events. Every answer shows the chart factors it used, so you can see where it comes from. Kalika is for insight and reflection, not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice.
